Things to do when you're bored

Located in the middle of upstate New York, what are some of the things that you, as a Cornellian, can do for fun that is quasi-unique to Cornell? Apart from all the usual college stuff, you can:

  1. Gorge jump (dangerous, and Cornell police WILL reprimand you for it)
  2. Wine tour (if you're 21)
  3. Traying down the slope/buffalo street (also dangerous, and the Cornell police will also reprimand you for it)
  4. Sail on cayuga lake
  5. Swim in the gorges
  6. Hike the gorges
  7. Throw stones on olin cafe's roof (it makes a musical sound)
  8. Star gaze at the plantations
  9. Milk a cow
  10. Climb the bell tower
  11. Sleep at Club Uris
  12. Walk to Buttermilk Falls
  13. Walk to the 24 hour Wegmans at night
  14. Examine the gun factory
  15. Go to Six Flags Darien Lake
  16. Leave Ithaca for Canada
  17. Host a barbecue. In the winter.
  18. Play chess on the Commons.
  19. Climb on the roof of Mann Library.
  20. Snowshoe.
  21. Go skinny dipping.
  22. Climb the Lindseth Wall.
