Taste of Thai is a popular Thai restaurant located in the Commons. Though the location might not be the best for some Cornell students, taste of Thai is a great food alternative for students looking for something different. Taste of Thai is very busy during the weekends so it is always good to make reservations, specially if you are a large group.

[edit] Food

Taste of Thai provides great food at reasonable prices. Appetizers include Chicken Satay, lettuce wraps, and vegetarian rolls. They have different types of soups, noodle dishes, fried rice, curries and other main dishes. Some dishes might be spicy and the customer is able to choose between a spiciness level of 1-5, 1 being least spicy. They also serve Thai iced tea and iced coffee, and for dessert they have items like fried ice cream and sticky rice.

[edit] Pricing

Prices for main dishes in Taste of Thai range from 9 to 12 dollars. Appetizers range from 6 to 8 dollars, and desserts from 4 to 6. They also have a Lunch menu every weekday where the servings and menu choices are smaller, but the pricing is reduced to about 8 dollars per entree.

[edit] Taste of Thai Express

For those who don't wanna get out, there is Taste of Thai Express. They deliver to the Cornell Campus, though the food is similar but not the same as in Taste of Thai. They also have a lunch menu like Taste of Thai.

Taste of Thai Express is in no way related to Taste of Thai. The food is also sub-par at best when compared to Taste of Thai. This causes both great confusion and disappointment to many.
