Susan is a web application used in recruiting members of the Cornell community for participation in psychology experiments. It accommodates both people seeking money and course credit for their participation. The program is hosted on a Department of Psychology server and is located at http://susan.psych.cornell.edu/.

[edit] History

Susan was created by Daniel C. Richardson, likely in 2000, using WebStar, an early hosting software suite, and AppleScript, an Apple programing language. The program was redesigned in 2003 by Rick Dale, and appears to have undergone additional modifications in 2007. Fred Horan is responsible for the maintenance of the system.
