Students for Free Culture is an international student movement dedicated to the reform of intellectual property law, and inspired by Lawrence Lessig's book, Free Culture.

In 2006, students at Cornell started a chapter of Students for Free Culture. Department of Communication professor Tarleton Gillespie was the faculty adviser. Since that time, the chapter has become dormant. Its founding members are purported to have been seniors, members of the Class of 2006, who left the group lying fallow upon graduation.

The chapter's website still exists, for those who are curious.
