[edit] Origins

OUTreach was founded at the start of the 2002/2003 academic year. The group was a reorganization and renaming of Men At Cornell (M.A.C.), itself a renaming of Men Supporting Men (MSM). Like its predecessors, OUTreach functions as a support group. As part of its reorganization OUTreach more formally took on a function as a social networking group and, to a lesser degree, a service group.
