Network Usage Based Billing (NUBB) is a CIT-run, web-based service that allows users to view monthly Internet traffic usage for their registered network devices. Users can access the NUBB interface by going to http://nubb.cornell.edu.

NUBB is available to anyone with a valid NetID and encompasses all incoming and outgoing Internet traffic for users connected on ResNet, RedRover, and RedRover Secure. Students are given a 15 gigabyte monthly bandwidth allowance while employees have 5 gigabytes. After this threshold is reached, users are charged at a rate of $1.50 per gigabyte thereafter. Local network traffic and access to Cornell hosted services (BlackBoard, Student Center etc.) do not count against the monthly bandwidth allowance.
