The purpose of CUWiki is to create a collective knowledgebase of information about Cornell which doesn't necessarily belong in the larger Wikipedia. There are about 100 articles specifically related to Cornell in Wikipedia. The Cornell University main article has been featured on Wikipedia's front page. CUWiki's goal is to address the smaller items of interest about Cornell - classes, departments, dorms, professors, clubs, rumors - which may not be notable enough to be included on Wikipedia.

Editing

Absolutely anybody can edit CUWiki. The wiki operates independently of Cornell University and has no official affiliation with the university. Official sources are welcome to contribute articles or information to the site as regular users. All editors should keep in mind CUWiki licencing, privacy policies, and disclaimers. Remember that since CUWiki is not affiliated with Cornell, articles which are copied directly from Cornell pages are in violation of copyright.
