The Cornell University Program Board (CUPB) is a student organization located within the Dean of Students Office and the Student Activities Office at Cornell University. It was founded in 1979. CUPB is responsible for organizing major lecture and entertainment events for the entire Cornell community. CUPB also works with other campus organizations to co-sponsor various activities. The organization sponsors approximately six events per academic year including the entertainment for Cornell's Family Weekend.
CUPB meets every Wednesday at 5:15 pm in the Willard Straight Hall International Room, which is on the left side (South) of the building as you enter Willard Straight Hall. Members help decide what shows to bring to Cornell, promote each show, and staff each show. New Members are always welcome!
Recent notable speakers include Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Whoopi Goldberg and Bob Saget.
