[edit] Balch Hall

Balch as seen from the front

On North Campus, Balch stands out for its majestic English Renaissance style. Originally, each of the four halls were decorated differently in "Early American, Georgian, English Jacobean, and modern Grammercy Park". The former dining hall has since been converted into a student center, cafe, and lecture hall. The dorm rooms are unique in that each has its own working sink. Balch Hall is the only all-female dormitory at Cornell University.[1]
